Our first pre-fab project was driven by necessity, who is also known as the ‘Mother of all Invention’. This entry porched was an addition to a traditional home that had just been completely renovated and then purchased by new owners. The new owners desperately wanted a covered entry and we did not want to tear into the freshly finished labors of others so we designed a substantial entry system that would ‘tread lightly’ on the existing home. We ‘invented’ a pre-fabricated system that floated just above the exiting roof surface allowing the current roofing and guttering to remain untouched. The tempered glass skylight ridge allowed for the new porch to be built in our shop in two sections then transported to site and erected in one day.
